MedCare Hospital Management System

MedCare Hospitals came to Techomaxx running three disconnected legacy systems for patient records, billing and pharmacy, which meant staff re-entered the same patient information multiple times a day and reconciling bills at month-end was slow and error-prone. We were asked to design and build a single hospital-wide ERP that could replace all three systems without disrupting ongoing patient care.

Our team built a unified platform covering OPD and IPD patient management, billing with automated tariff rules, pharmacy inventory tracking, and integration with the hospital's lab equipment for direct result capture. Because a hospital cannot simply pause operations for a system cutover, we rolled the platform out in phases across departments over roughly ten weeks, pairing each phase with on-site staff training so clinical and administrative teams were comfortable with the new workflows before the next module went live.

The phased approach meant each department could adjust before the next went live, rather than facing a single disruptive switch-over across the whole hospital. Following launch, MedCare reported that patient record retrieval, previously requiring staff to check multiple systems, became noticeably faster, and billing errors dropped as automated tariff rules replaced manual rate lookups.
